This 120 year old home is a historical two story house with five bedrooms and two full bathrooms……and the first house built on this block in Galveston Island in 1901.
Our vacation rental is perfect, for multi-generational large families.

The family fun begins downstairs with 2 large living areas and an extremely well stocked kitchen!!
The front porch and balcony run the width of the house with Gulf views and refreshing sea breezes.
“TALES OF THE SEA” is a spacious, comfortable and a secure place to vacation with multi-generational families, large families or a couple of families together in one location.
Some of Galveston’s finest restaurants and thrilling tourist attractions are within walking distance of this comfortable, eye-catching home.
The beach is just across the street. along with Galveston’s Historic Pleasure Pier, Murdoch’s, The Spot, Bubba Gump’s and more!
We love our pets and we understand traveling with them,
If you choose to include your family pet, you are responsible for their care. We ask that you kennel them if ever left alone for their own anxiety control and safety.

The guest in this home have access to the entire home, fenced front and back yard, including Pool.
Guests also have access to a large park, tennis courts and skateboarding park at the end of the block where this house is located.
The park includes swings for special needs children and adults!
We are not on the property at all times. We have several homes in Galveston and sometimes we’re on the mainland. I always have maintenance men and cleaning people available for you, if needed. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do for you in the area of maintenance or cleaning on the house and property.
Please notify us immediately if there is a maintenance issue that needs our attention. We will do our best to maintain it without disruption during your stay in our home.

Your family and guest won’t miss a thing because our home is located right off the Seawall and across the street from the beach and Galveston Historical Pleasure Pier. You will enjoy the beautiful lighting and Seawall sounds at night from one of our two porches that expand the 30 ft width of the front of the house. The porch comes off the front of the house and the upper deck expands 30 ft also.
Amazing views
Once inside the home, the environment is very comfortable and your group is not distracted by outside noise from the entertainment. It is a great mix of fun, entertainment, relaxation and family.
Galveston has a beautiful outdoor playground with a public skateboarding. park and tennis courts at the end of the block for all guest use.
Our home is a great way to begin and end an exciting Galveston trip.
Galveston’s favorite way of transportation is walking. It takes you back to a small town feel and can be enjoyed all over the island.
We also have city buses, taxies and independent drivers.
You can walk to the seawall and and rent bikes, golf carts and riding equipment of all kinds.
There are numerous vendors along the seawall that rent all kinds of transportation you may enjoy.
There is always activities on the streets of Galveston and specifically Seawall Blvd !
We welcome your dog on vacation with you and your family. There are a few safety reminders when they’re on our property and neighborhood.
When going outside of our fenced in yard, please have your dog on a leash. It’s a Galveston requirement.
Make sure your dog is completely vaccinated and treated for fleas and ticks . Even with treatment, we have sand fleas down here which are a little different from your regular fleas, but your dog will be protected if you are already using a regular flea and tick prevention.
Kennels are very important to bring if your dog is used to one. They are in a strange place and can be easily upset and tear up things in the house when you’re gone.
We have had great experiences hosting dogs on vacations with family. Please make sure you leave the outside premises free of dog debris and waste.
